ABOUT

OVERVIEW
In the 1980s, the TV series "Stranger Things" is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The local government's Hawkins National Laboratory is known for conducting paranormal and supernatural experiments, which involve human subjects. When the facility accidentally creates a portal to an alternate reality known as the "Upside Down," it creates a terrifying force that affects the residents of Hawkins.
The first season of "Upside Down" begins in 1983. Will Byers, a young man, is abducted by a frightening creature from the town. His mom, Joyce, and the town's chief, Jim Hopper, search for him, while a young psychokinetic named Eleven helps the others in their search.
In 1984, the second season of Stranger Things begins. After being rescued, Will begins experiencing visions of Hawkins' fall. When it's discovered that he's being possessed by an unseen entity in the Upside Down, his family and friends are faced with a greater threat.
The third season of the show begins in the days before the Fourth of July holiday in 1985. The Starcourt Mall has become a major factor in the town, causing many local stores to close. Meanwhile, Jim Hopper begins becoming more concerned about the relationship between Mike and Eleven.
The residents of Hawkins were unaware that a secret Soviet laboratory was operating beneath Starcourt. The Mind Flayer then used mind control to force Billy to perform a secret deed.
The fourth season of "Upside Things" begins in March 1986. After moving to California, Will, Joyce, Jonathan, and Eleven face issues with their new life. In the town of Hawkins, a terrifying entity known as Vecna begins killing the residents. This leads to the creation of new gates between the two parallel worlds.
Doctor Sam Owens then tries to stop Vecna by taking Eleven to a facility that can help her regain her powers. Meanwhile, Joyce and Murray travel to Russia to rescue Jim Hopper.
