ABOUT

The first two seasons of "The Flash" and "The Atom" were published by DC's Vertigo imprint. They were produced by Jerry Brucker's TV and DC Entertainment.

Tom Kapinos' urban fantasy drama series, Lucifer, premiered in 2016 and ended in 2021. It is based on the character created by Mike Dringenberg, Neil Gaiman, and Sam Kieth of DC Comics. The titular character was first introduced in the "The Sandman" comic book series.

The series focuses on the story of Tom Ellis' character, who is the DC Universe's incarnation of the Devil, who left Hell and relocated to Los Angeles. He runs a nightclub known as L.A.'s Lux. He then becomes a consultant for the LAPD. The supporting cast includes Lauren German as Chloe Decker, Kevin Arnold as Daniel "Dan" Espinosa, Rachael Harris as Linda Martin, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Amenadiel.

The series was filmed mostly in Vancouver before moving to Los Angeles for its third season.

Although the series got mixed reviews during its first season, the subsequent ones were generally better than the first. Its low ratings also contributed to Fox's decision to end the show after three seasons. After it was picked up by Netflix, the series continued to earn high ratings.
